First off I want to thank all of the people here for their participation on this website. I wanted to create a website where fans of WFAN radio could have a forum to post their views and get feedback from other listeners.
This board is for posts about the Mike and the Mad Dog Radio Show. You can include posts about anything related to WFAN, including any other WFAN shows and hosts. I ask that general sports posts or anything NOT related to WFAN be posted on the Sports board.
ATTENTION 2/17/09: We now accept GMAIL for new Member Registrations. This is the only free email service we allow.
UPDATE: For New Registrations, the Free Email Addresses like Hotmail, AOL, Yahoo, Live, etc., will not be allowed for new members, sorry for the inconvenience but everyone has access to their ISP email, education email, or work email address, by using that you will make it easier to keep track of legit members. Thanks for your cooperation.

3/4/09 UPDATE: I have noticed an increase in disgusting or potentially offensive Pics or Photo Shopped Pics in some posts. I'm giving a warning now for the veteran members to stop that, the veterans will get a warning and then a ban, new members will be banned quickly. Enough with the juvenile garbage, thank you.
1. Please limit personal attacks on other posters, attack the message not the messenger.
2. Please do not use racial epithets or make derogatory statements about women.
3. Please try and find old threads that match the subject you want to talk about. Use the search function. For individual shows like Miked'Up, you can date them e.g. Miked'Up 1/18/07. Try to stay on the topic of the subject of the thread.
4. While this website does allow jokes we don't want any strange threads created trying to find out any information about the wives or families of Mike Francesa or Chris Russo.
5. We welcome all newcomers to the board but please check the F.A.Q. before posting.
6. Keep the pictures you post to a minimum. Don't post any personal pics of yourself or other members. I would rather you post a link to a picture than post the actual picture on this website. Only clean pics and that goes for avatars as well. I will delete any pictures I deem offensive, annoying, or disgusting. If I delete a picture you post two or three times you will learn what I don't like. After that you get a warning, after that you will get banned.
7. To new members: Somebody who signs up and starts violating the rules or acting like a troll will get banned quickly. The veteran members get more latitude. Anybody spamming will immediately get banned.
8. Make sure to post in the proper forums. Lately even the veteran members are having a tough time putting Sports or Politics only threads in the proper forums. The exception being live game day threads of MLB playoff games, any regular season Jets or Giants game, any NFL playoff game, any NHL hockey playoff game, any NBA playoff game, or big College football game, and any big boxing match.
9. Don't try and go around word censors with profanity. If you do you will get a warning, repeated violations and you will be banned.
10. Please don't use the report a post function on this board because then it gets forwarded to my email which I check rarely. I prefer private messages instead of email.
If you find a post that you think should be deleted then send me a private message with a link to the post or thread and a little summary of why it should be deleted.
11. Most of all use common sense. No death threats, don't falsely portray yourself as another member or famous person. Don't post addresses or phone numbers of yourself or other members or famous people. Keep personal information about yourself or other members to a minimum. Better to correspond with someone via private message than to post your information on a public website. Don't post any personal pics of yourself or other members. While humor is allowed on this board, this board will not degenerate into a Howard Stern board, use your best judgement as to what that means. The veteran members know that I rarely have to delete posts. I will never delete a post because I don't like an opinion. Feel free to criticize my opinions. This is a free speech zone and will always remain that way. However I believe the majority of the members want a professional board and that is what I try to accomplish in moderating it.
I depend on your help to police this board. Thanks for keeping the website respectable.
