Terrell Owens

Didn't Mike and Dog (but especially Dog) assert several times around Week 5 as if it were a foregone conclusion that Terrell Owens would find a way to wreck the Cowboys' season?

Isn't that prediction way off base?

Do you suppose they will apologize to T.O.? :P

(I've always thought that T.O. was a jaywalker who is treated like an axe murderer, if you look at that last season in Philly, people wanted to throw him out of the league practically, and if you asked what concrete action he had done that was so bad, you'd get, "Well he's a cancer in the clubhouse, it's all about T.O....." Come on now, let's have some proportion here. He's an *** but that's all he is.)

Yeah, but they were saying that his "antics" would tear the team apart. Wins are wins, and the Cowboys are hot. They were wrong. (So far.)

Is the season over yet? Time will tell on this ******.

The truth is that if it wasn't for Romo, TO would have torn the team apart. IF Romo has some bad games, don't think that TO isn't going to go off on him and create a controversy. I don't think that anyone thought that Romo was going to play this well. Of course, the season isn't over yet.

The season isn't over, but the Cowboys are going to make the playoffs. That didn't seem very likely 6 weeks ago, and they were basically saying TO was going to make it impossible for the Cowboys to succeed. Those comments have been proven false by now.

T.O. has shut up in the last few weeks, so he deserves some credit. I'm not saying he's not an ****** -- he is an ****** -- but being an ****** doesn't have that much to do with winning or losing.

Ummmm, he's shut up in the last few weeks? What was the commentary about how he disagreed with cutting Vanderjagt? What about how he didn't catch Bill's little speech the other day?

This guy can't control himself. He's an attention whore to the n'th degree. He's a helluva ball player, even with all his costly drops, but he's also a time bomb waiting to explode. The jury is still out on how this experiment will end up.

When the Cowboys start losing, then we can start blaming losses on him. He was pretty quiet for a while there, I don't pay attn that carefully. I don't doubt he might start acting up, but the 'Boys are 8-4 and they said that was pretty much impossible with TO around.
