When I got home last night (Monday) the boys were having a big discussion about the SATs; how the test is scored, tricks to do better, etc. Does anyone know why they ventured into this topic?

i dunno, i would guess because Chris scored a 50?

The SAT stuff started because they were talking about Huessler's two sons, both of whom are in college (I didn't know any of that, it was interesting, Huessler seems to be a pretty solid and proud dad). One son is at UConn and the other at Fairfield, if I remember correctly. Then the discussion became, how good is UConn as a school anyway. M&MD were assuming in a very non-mean way that it was easy for a CT resident to get in, and Huessler and some callers were saying that things have changed, UConn is a much better school than it used to be plus the applicant pool has changed so that it's not automatic for a CT resident anymore. Then it drifted to SATs -- that discussion was hilarious, I teach at Kaplan and their ignorance on the test is stunning, the callers tried to inform them but since they are inarticulate ended up adding zero to their knowledge -- good funny radio all around.

As Kate was leaving, Mike asked her what her favorite movie of all-time was. You know what she said?

Same favorite as the fat one, Braveheart. Mike was so proud of this fact.

now the guys are acting critics. they already have her winning ten oscars in a row.
