Olbermann on NBC NFL pregameDiet Coke Isn't Working 04-17-2007, 10:41 AM Sent you dissent to: feedback@nbcsports.com jkb246 04-17-2007, 10:46 AM I don't care what his political leanings are. I just want to know why they even need him. Didn't they just bring in Tiki? What are they going to have 20 people doing the show. Their reasoning must be that their paying hing $ 4 million a year to do a TV show that gets no ratings, they might as well have him do something else. Why not let him clean the toilets then in the MSNBC studios? It would be better spent then having him join an already crowded booth. If he's as far left as everyone suggests, then he might argue that weaker teams should start the game with a lead based upon the current line at Harrah's. For instance, the Texans should be up 14-0 at kickoff. Olbermann could further argue that every team should finish at 8-8, and sign a Marques of Queensbury pact with each other prior to the start of the game. Seriously, what more constructive commentary could he add? I've always been a fan of 3 person broadcasting booths when it comes to the NFL. And none of the sideline reporter **** either. These people at NBC tend to treat their product like every game is the Super Bowl. I'll take simplicity every time. He will be doing some commentary on NBC nightly news too. const 04-17-2007, 01:58 PM Their reasoning must be that their paying hing $ 4 million a year to do a TV show that gets no ratings, they might as well have him do something else. Hate to use the obnoxious jerk's own words, but he's the "Worst Person" for this job. Is NBC trying to have the most unwatchable pregame show? Let's see, there is Collinsworth who thinks he is great, there is Tiki who thinks he is great and now Olbermann who thinks he is great. What a waste. | |
