David Gregory on WFAN

I heard Russert on with him this morning, promoting a new book, I think (?). Russert didn't miss a beat in transitioning from Imus to Gregory.

Interestingly, Gregory strongly defended Imus in the immediate aftermath of the controversy. The defense focused primarily on looking at the entire body of Imus' work as opposed to trying defend the actual Imus' comments. Gregory's actions showed him to be a person of strong character and convictions, standing by a friend even while condemming Imus' comments.

The same can't be said for Russert despite his frequent appearances on Imus and considering how much Imus promoted Russert's books and TV show. I had previously believed that Russert was one of the few "talking heads" with real integrity. I'm not so sure anymore.

BTW, who is the female co-hosting with Gregory? I thought I heard him introduce her as "Tracy Gold." Isn't that the former child actress from Growing Pains who had anorexia? WTF is that all about? :confused:

I don't get the whole "Radio Chick" thing. It's dumb. Them talking about her strippersize classes was quite amusing though

Eh, the Radio Chick. She couldn't get ratings at 'NEW or the Q, and she's not doing to well right now over at FreeFM. Maybe she fits better in this type of role, who knows?

I used to listen to her years ago on NEW. I thought she was pretty good. She's intertaining without being a shock jock.

Russert's book has been out awhile.

Problem with the radio chick is that if you listen to her show,everyone on air and the callers are always talking about how hot she is. once you actually see her,that fantasy is quickly extinguished. her schtick is that she's a gal who thinks like a guy,but it's a hacky show with the annoying sidekick unfunny comic who won't shut up(he'll give you the black guy perspective) and the guy who's constantly putting in unfunny sound effects and sound clips.
