Do you think he'll try to move on from the Rutgers incident, or make it the central point of his show? If the latter, who do you think he will disparage the most? Harold Ford Jr.? Tim Russert? Ana Marie Cox?
And let's say he goes somewhere other than the Fan---do you think anyone will go with him besides Chuck McCord?

I don't remember him being that close to the I-Man. I think the other defections would hit Imus much harder.

I think he would address it and move on, incorporating more of the charity work (the Ranch, Autism, Wounded Warrior Project). Charles would go with him, as he has followed the I-Man at every stop. Lou would probably go to, but I don't know how much he has invested at the FAN. Bernard is a different story. He might be too hot, even for Imus. You might even see more of Deirdre.
As for guests, I do not think that anyone from NBC News will be appearing anytime soon, along with Chris Dodd, Lupica (who is trying to get back in the I-Man's good graces by commenting who won the Ranch Rodeo award in his Sunday column) or Harold Ford.

Imus is too much of a risk for any station to hire him.

The ink won't be dry on his settlement before Imus is back on the air.
Imus is not really risky-- he's just perceived that way.
Lupica (who is trying to get back in the I-Man's good graces by commenting who won the Ranch Rodeo award in his Sunday column)
Why would the I-Man be down on Lupica?

Imus is a risk. He doesn't get ratings and the FCC has cracked down on all the so-called shock jocks. Too many radio stations have been heavily fined due to this.

Love him or hate him, Imus has not been this relevant for twenty years. He not only gets decent (not great) numbers, he reaches a demographic that few others can touch.
Look at how MSNBC has stumbled since his firing.

Not to mention the FAN morning drive show.
