Isn't it brutal to listen when Mike and Chris devote 10 - 15 minutes going game by game thru the Knicks, for example, schedule? At Cleveland - Loss. At Chicago - Loss. At Atlanta - Win. "How can you give them a win in Atlanta?" Home vs. Houston - Loss. Home vs. Phoenix - Loss. Home vs. Washington - Win. "A win over Washington?" At Miami - Loss. Etc. etc. etc...

As hungry as I would be for them to discuss something different, other than baseball, I'd jump at the chance to lsiten to that.

I'm shocked that they even talked about the Knicks, much less go into their schedule. Usually, Chris, when asked about them will respond "Mikey they're horrible, Isaiah's (sp?) horrible, terrible job".

These guys barely even watch, so how the hell can they tell us about wins and losses? Ask them to name the starting lineup for the Hawks or Bullets and Miek will respond with his usual "uhhhhhhhh" "uhhhhhhh". He'd probably give the throat slash, cut you off, while calling you a dope for thinking the Knicks have a chance.

Oh Really

with his usual classic line "its a bad week for the nfl mikey" which usually ends up in a classic week of football

I couldn't agree with that more. there's rarely a terrible weekend of NFL. OK Giant or Jet game may suck but you can usually catch clips of good games somewhere..

Agreed. Real football fans like myself live and breathe the sport. There is no such thing as a bad week, only an opportunity for potential upsets, etc. Football, regardless of whether one likes it or not, is the most popular sport in this country. It is an event that is highly anticipated each and every week, unlike your typical Brewers-Marlins matchup in July.
