I listen to Larry Kudlow's show on Saturday mornings on WABC and they would always cut away from him to air Harvey's "Rest of The Story" piece at 11:40 AM, which ran until noon. I'll be honest; he was a bit hokey for me, but he seemed like a wonderful human being and he had a great voice. Truly a radio legend...RIP.

He got a bit corny once he reached his late 70's, but his pre-Internet "Rest of the Story" segments were always very interesting.

He definitely had a unique flow in going from one his stories to an ad. He would finish whatever story he was discussing, then start the ad in a way that seemed like another story instead of just a commercial.
