Another shout out to Michael Savage fans to try and start a message board for the Savage Nation here, I know there are a couple of other boards that follow the show but I think they are poorly run with tons of spam and personal attacks against other board members, give this place a chance.

I find Michael Savage to be a very interesting host. Politics aside, he is a great storyteller. As far as his politics, I don't know if I really believe he is genuine, especially because in his youth he palled around with Allen Ginsburg. But he is an original New Yorker, he went to my college (Queens College), and I like when he tells stories about growing up in Queens. However, I don't like when he starts soliciting money for his "legal defense" fund, that sounds like a scam to me.

Totally agree with you, I've never heard such an original voice and a host that just presents you with interesting and counterintuitive views, I like that he attacks both sides of the political aisle and love the stories.

However you are correct, that defense fund is a never ending slush fund, the only redeeming part of it would be if he is actually giving the money to the defense causes he talks about, like defending a soldier in Afghanistan, that being said it does hurt his credibility.
