The WFAN schedule shows Mike is off the rest of the week. Odd timing with the NHL and NBA playoffs and the subway series all happening.

remember a cpl of weeks ago when i said you can see why mets like certain players but schwinden is one i cant figure out why?he made one start for blue jays aaa club and gave up 8 runs in 2 innings,so now off to cleveland....mike said heat in 5,now they are down 3-2,picked both races wrong with ill have another,he picked the devils and now they are down 3-0.if he ever walked down my block and says i look great,im going to make out my will real fast...i think if mike ever picked his nose he would stick a finger in his eye.

Anyone notice Steve Somers' voice sounds very different recently? It has a different pitch to it. Almost doesn't sound like him.

anybody realize yesterday that a WANG was pitching against a DICKEY? all we needed was BOBBY COX and RUSTY KUNTZ managing.

Been thinking about this - since we are typically 2-3 weeks away from Mike's 2 month hiatus... might WFAN keep Mike on the air in July/August since it is the big 25 year anniversary for WFAN. I can't imagine they'd let him do his usual "see you guys in 2 months" when they are kicking off a celebratory time.... not the biggest name and brand they have.

Thoughts?

I think Mike said something about spending time on the 25th anniversary before he leaves on vacation at the end of the month. The anniversary is July 4th I think. Doubtful Mike will be in around that holiday.

Edit: Anniversary is July 1.

I was wrong and Mike Francesa was wrong about Bosh. Let's see if Mike tries to cover for himself and change what he said earlier in the week. He said that not only would he not bring back Bosh for Game 5, he would not bring him back until Game 1 of The Finals if they made it. Nobody knows for certain but I'm pretty sure if Bosh did not play in Game 7 it would have been down to the wire.

The NBA definitely got what they wanted although it did not look like the ref's were overly favoring Miami in Game 7. Hopefully OKC can prevail.

Somers supposedly said he had oral surgery, but who knows if that is it. Mike was right, the Yankees don't win when they don't hit home runs. But that is rarely a problem at Yankee Stadium.
