I have noticed that we have had a couple of threads about Sports Personalities that we suspect are gay. Like to hear all you takes.

On the record, I don't think Mike is gay. He has a tendency of admitting that guys are handsome and such. I don't think he is though.

As for Russo, I think he is a tad bit weird and possibly he has a couple of gay leanings. If he is gay, he has yet to come out of the closet.

These three names scream out

Michael Kay: I have always had this feeling that he way gay. I thought I was the only one until I came to this board. LOL.

Al Trautwig: He's another... He gives off that vibe.

Suzyn Waldman: Another...

Kay is definately a closet queen. And ironically, he worked alongside the gayest straightman this side of Regis and Tony Randall in John Sterling, who could belt out a Broadway showtune at any moment. He was comfortable in his heteroness, and you could feel Kay's awkwardness, afraid anyone would find his secret.

He shouldn't care though, wasn't Mel Allen supposed to be a fag too, another "voice of the Yankees".

Sam Champion is flaming. For what its worth, Aikman is also married with a few kids, I believe. Could still be a ********** though, look at McGreevey.

I forgot to add Jim Lamphley, the HBO boxing guy. Long time rumors about him.

And he's not sports, but I have a gay friend who was acousted in his gym locker room by Channel 5 weatherguy Nick Gregory, what is it with the weathermen???

And I'd love to hear the Mel Allen story too, I only have heard innuendo, never any confirmation!
