Default Can't wait to hear Mike defend Manny

Here's Mike's buddy Manny, being Manny:

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21352532/

The gist of the article is Manny on the subject of elimination: “It doesn’t happen, so who cares? There’s always next year. It’s not like it’s the end of the world.”

i think it's a perfect message from Manny to fans of all teams...hey..i'm a mets fan and i still enjoyed the season, didn't end the way i wanted it to but it was still 6 months of fun...if the Red Sox don't win the World Series should their fans think it was lost season??..they didn't even make the playoffs last year....good for Manny.

His attitude is what makes him a winner. If he wasn't doing his best and doing it when it counts the most, then these comments might be annoying.

Just look at how Boston has embraced Randy Moss as well, who also does well when he feels like it and only feels like it when the stakes are high.

And he isn't a total phony like A-Rod or Jeter. He says what he's thinking and couldn't give a damn what anyone thinks. I like Bonds for the same reason.

I dont agree.Moss has been a saint in Bos. Plus he gets a raw deal all the time. He never had any real bad incidents. "mooning" the Packers was like the worst thing he did. Besides there hasnt been any "high stakes" moments in NE this year to back this up.

Same here. I appreciate when an athelete shows honesty and passion. Guys like Paul LoDuca and the like. I hate when guys just throw out the same recycled garbage answers. Why do reporters even ask them questions?

Now I cant wait for Mad Fraud to bash MAnny. Then Tank will start sucking Manny's ***** as usual. I wonder if Tankie does that to wash the taste of Diet Coke out of his gullett. He has a man crush. Its scary.
