Default 4/25/09 - Draf'd up part 2 - who will pick da kid?

Da kid from Georgier signed, but who picks da uttah kid?

How many TEs will the Jets draft?

Yanks/Sox part deux - Will Burnett be Burnett or will Beckett be Beckett?

Can a Met other than Santaner pitch a decent game?

and can I get over this bad Mexican I had last night?

Have at it

Jets fan scenario - I'd love to go after Da Kid from USC or Da Kid from Kansas State, but the problem is that they're already built like a win-now team....pick up a WR, any one that can replace a possession receiver like Coles. There's no point in picking up a tight end like Pettigrew if they already have Dustin Keller, it would make absolutely no sense to pick a TE as your first pick 2 years in a row. I wouldn't be shocked though.....this is the Jets.

The Yankees, although it's still only April, would be nice to pick up a W today because if that game last night would've been a later season game, that would've been a back breaker. AJ's a type of stoppah, and I'd like to see him outduel DOOOOOOOOSH today also. Any win against Beckett is a good win.

This morning they mentioned that the Rams really like Sanchez and are entertaining the though of looking to trade Bulger and taking Sanchez

... as a Jet fan, how would you feel about someone like Bulger? Not quite as old as Farve and has proven to be pretty good when healthy?

Perfect day for an afternoon Mets game leading to the Jets draft.

Mets lose, Jets pick a TE. Couldn't get any better.....fml

My wife saw the fire trucks and police cars on her way home. We were discussing it last night in the beginning of the game thread. It is terrible. Looking at the picture, I didn't realize how bad it was. I feel bad for the kids.

I'm not a big Bulger fan. Also, I'm not conviced the Rams really love Sanchez. You have all these teams out there creaming for the kid, so the Rams may just be making it look like they'll take him at #2 to ger some of the teams (Daniel Snyder *cough cough*) to panic and give up the farm to move up to #2. In return, the Rams accumulate a ton of picks to rebuild and move down to a more cap-friendly spot in the draft. And, Sanchez and the agent can play along, because they both make a lot more money if he's picked second than fifth.
