The Michael Savage show on June 23, 2009: Once again Michael Savage interprets the news like no other, he has it right, President Barack Obama’s press conferences should be called The Barry Obama show complete with canned laughter.
Why was Obama talking about “pitching and catching” was that a Freudian slip, are the crazy internet rumors true????
Anyway no questions on Hail and Query, no important questions from our sycophantic media.
The Barry Obama show reminds War69.com of the movie by Martin Scorcese entitled “The King of Comedy”. In that movie Robert DeNiro plays the desperate character Rupert Pupkin, Pupkin aspires to be the next Johnny Carson and sets up a faux studio in his Mom’s basement. It all mirrors Obama’s presidential press conferences, the canned laughter, the bad jokes, the sycophantic media/audience.
We don’t have a clip of that scene but we have a clip of Rupert Pupkin in action. By the way you know the media is in Obama’s back pocket because the man is the most unfunny President we have ever seen, yet the media laughs as if Eddie Murphy is on stage.
Fear not, War69.com has found the scene in which Rupert Pupkin practices his horrible comedy act.
Here is the faux comedian Barry Obama:
MR. OBAMA: OK. You’re pitching; I’m catching.
QUESTION: OK.
(LAUGHTER)
MR. OBAMA: I got the question.
First of all, was the reference to Spock, is that a crack on my ears?
(LAUGHTER)
QUESTION: No.
MR. OBAMA: All right. I just wanted to make sure. No?
QUESTION: Never make fun of you (inaudible)
