Question For Obama Administration, If the Hague Was On The Verge of Ruling That The United States Would Owe Iran 8 to 10 Billion Regarding the $400 Million that the U.S. Has Held Since 1980 From A Deposit By the Deposed Shah, Why Did Iran Settle For 1.7 Billion Dollars, And Has Anybody in the Media Asked This Simple Question.

Other questions that MikeFrancesa.com has not heard or read, what were the factors that culminated in this decision suddenly becoming imminent when this dispute has stretched back over 36 years, 1980? If the Hague rendered such a punitive decision, 8 to 10 billion dollars, would the U.S. have no recourse to fight it, to appeal it, what if the U.S. simply declared they would not pay it, what would be the ramifications?

We know that the media is more offended that Ryan Lochte lied to them about pissing on a flower in a corrupt nation (Brazil) that exploits its poor but could they at least ask President Obama a few cogent questions regarding the apparent lie that the U.S. did not use this 1.7 billion as ransom for our hostages. Look up the historical record and you will find that the U.S. has contemplated using this money as a carrot to influence Iran in other matters during the Clinton administration.
