Somebody stop the stupidity. The following paragraph by Andrew Sullivan makes no sense:
Consider this hypothetical. It’s November 2008. A young Pakistani Muslim is watching television and sees that this man—Barack Hussein Obama—is the new face of America. In one simple image, America’s soft power has been ratcheted up not a notch, but a logarithm. A brown-skinned man whose father was an African, who grew up in Indonesia and Hawaii, who attended a majority-Muslim school as a boy, is now the alleged enemy. If you wanted the crudest but most effective weapon against the demonization of America that fuels Islamist ideology, Obama’s face gets close. It proves them wrong about what America is in ways no words can.
Here is a wake up call to Sullivan, there are Muslim leaders across the Middle East, the terrorists don’t care, Al-Qaeda hates the Saudi leaders, that young Muslim is not going to care what Obama looks like, he is going to care about what Obama’s decisions are as President.
I am assuming that Obama is not lying when he says he will bomb Al-Qaeda’s sanctuaries in Pakistan if Musharraf won’t act, that is the correct policy, the minute Obama executes that policy, the young Muslim boy is going to hate America with the same passion they hate America under the helm of President Bush.
Lighten up Francis ALERT: Someone needs to tell Olbermann to calm down, the man takes himself way too seriously, it looked like he was going to have a heart attack last night with his “Special Comment” about Ferraro’s comments.
Be careful, the Liberal PC Police are working overtime in this election.
