Jeremiah Wright pops up at the wrong time for Barack Obama as he appears on Bill Moyers “Now” on PBS Friday night. One wonders whether Wright secretly wants Obama to lose. Among other things he doesn’t take back any of his controversial statements, says America has blood on her hands, discounted Obama’s Philadelphia speech as just being “politics” or what a politician says.
But the most striking thing Jeremiah Wright said was that he and Barack Obama never discussed politics.
I ask this question to anybody reading in the blogosphere. Out of all of your family and friends, do you recall one friend or relative whom you never discussed 9/11 with? Now whittle that down to your close friends and relatives and any possible spiritual advisors, can you imagine NEVER discussing the attacks of September 11, 2001??
So do any of you believe that Jeremiah Wright never told Barack Obama his feelings that the blame of 9/11 falls on America’s policies and that the “chickens had come to roost”.
In the days and weeks after 9/11, what did Obama talk about with his spiritual advisor and close friend Jeremiah Wright, did they discuss the weather, sports, God?
A tall tale indeed.
This blog is biased, I feel America would be safe in the hands of John McCain or Hillary Clinton, I fear that Barack Obama would be another Jimmy Carter, and America can’t afford four years of that disaster.
But I conclude in saying that the reason Hillary Clinton will secure the nomination is because the super delegates are in extreme fear of losing a third election in a row. After eight years of President Bush, hard core Democrats can’t comprehend losing to another Republican. Any rational thinking Democrat sees that Obama loses Florida, Ohio, and possibly Pennsylvania to McCain, there simply is no way Obama beats McCain.
My message to super delegates is that if you want to LOSE one more election, nominate Barack Obama.
