Barack Obama Quote, Gaffe Machine Continues: From the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor

July 30th, 2008 · No Comments

Memo to the McCain campaign: It has become increasingly obvious that Barack Obama is not as intelligent as the media has pumped him up to be. Even more of a concern is his lack of knowledge when it comes to United States history. This probably stems from the fact that he was not raised and educated in American schools, he was schooled in Indonesia, how much United States history do you think he was being taught on a daily basis. The McCain campaign should look to trip him up in the debates by having McCain refer to different parts of U.S. history and how it pertains to today, then turn to Obama and ask him a point blank question on that subject, if Obama fails, McCain will score big debating points.

Amazing that this guy is the one the Democrats thought would be the person to wrest power back from Bush. The Democrats go from Gore to Kerry To Obama, three Presidential losers. Here is the quote:

Barack Obama must have gone off script again in West Lafayette, Indiana on Wednesday. When addressing the crowd on national security, Obama mangled the attack on Pearl Harbor. For a Hawaii native, this tops the Young Gaffer list of historical fumbles (via Dean Barnett):

But it is wonderful to be back in Indiana. In a few moments, we’ll open up the discussion. But I want to offer a few comments about some of the emerging threats that we face in the 21st century and offer some ideas about how we can face those threats.

Throughout our history, America’s confronted constantly evolving danger, from the oppression of an empire, to the lawlessness of the frontier, from the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor, to the threat of nuclear annihilation. Americans have adapted to the threats posed by an ever-changing world.
